A romantic lunch awaits with menu highlights including Pate Dello Chef served with hot garlic ciabatta, Porchetta Rinuccini (Roast Irish Pork Belly, with garlic, fresh herbs and a Marsala wine reduction) and celebratory favourite, Rinuccini’s Cheesecake Al Limoncello – a lusciously creamy homemade cheesecake with Limoncello, Sicilian lemon zest served on a crunchy biscotti crust.

Guests can enjoy up to three hours complimentary parking at the nearby Ormonde Street car park, so there is lots of time to relax and enjoy a romantic stroll through Kilkenny Castle’s beautiful gardens after lunch. Kilkenny is the perfect destination for old-fashioned romancers where couples can enjoy the many hot spots that the city has to offer. Owner and Head Chef Antonio Cavaliere has also created a beautiful evening Valentine’s menu for those in a romantic spirit!

Couples will be greeted with a glass of Prosecco on arrival and can enjoy a sumptuous choice from our Valentine’s four course menu including Crostini di Salmone Affumicato, with organic West Cork smoked salmon and homemade crushed green olive mayonnaise, and Anatra al Sapore d’Arancia with award-winning Silver Hill Irish duckling, oven baked in a fresh orange juice and Aurum liquor sauce.

Conclude your meal with something sweet from our delicious desserts featuring homemade ‘Gelato Rinuccini’ and Tiramisu Classico with layers of sponge, laced with rum and espresso, filled with zabaglione cream and topped with shavings of dark Italian chocolate.
