The restaurant was packed which is a great sign. We both opted for the vegetarian option & side order of brushetta, the food was gorgeous, hot and tasty & great value for money as you pay for what you get & it was well worth it. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommend a visit.
This place really is something else, the attention to detail is what really makes the occasion, from the table setting, the excellent service to the level of food they serve. Its been a favourite in Kilkenny for years with all the family and has been the place of many occasions! Its always busy so make sure and book a table to save disappointment.
Talk about fine dining! I had the mussels to start, which was a massive portion, was fantastic! Then i had the duck, absolutely gorgeous. The waiters were so friendly too, was a great night.
Myself and the wive had an incredible meal here over the weekend. I absolutely love the place, and we have been going for years, and have never been disappointed. I had the veal which was delicious and my wife had the chicken in a creamy white wine sauce. There are few Italian restaurants that really bring back the memories of being in Italy, but I can safely say this place does exactly that
My boyfriend and I had an absolutely gorgeous meal here recently. The food was faultless, all 3 courses were of such a high standard and quality. The chef here really knows what he’s doing and the portions are huge! Fab deserts too! Service was excellent and the atmosphere was so warm and inviting, it feels like you are in someones dining room! The restaurant was full even though it was a Mon night which was a good sign form the beginning. We were staying in the Lyrath Estate and were recommended this place by reception who were right on the money!
